How to create an account and container in Google Tag Manager

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to create a Google Tag Manager account and container:

1. Go to the Google Tag Manager website:

   Open a browser, go to https://tagmanager.google.com/ and login.

2. Create an account

   Click on the “Create Account” button.

   In the “Account Setup” section enter your account name and your country. In the “Container Setup” section type in your container name. For “Target Platform” select “Web”.

   

   

   Finally click “Create”.

3. GTM Service Agreement

   Read carefully and accept Google Tag Manager Terms of Service Agreement and click “Yes”.
